Founded in 2020, Freedom Builders is a locally-owned roofing and exterior renovation company based in Spearfish, South Dakota. Our founder has spent a lifetime mastering the roofing trade, beginning his career at 17 and gaining extensive experience across the country, especially in storm-damaged areas. After moving to the Black Hills in 2018 to help repair storm-hit homes, he quickly fell in love with the community and decided to put down roots.

With Freedom Builders, we’re committed to providing high-quality roofing and exterior restoration services to the Spearfish area. Many of our team members began their roofing careers in the early 2000s, often traveling to areas affected by natural disasters to help people repair and rebuild. Our founder moved to South Dakota in 2018 with a vision of creating a roofing company that combines top-tier skills with local commitment. After working with local contractors on storm restoration projects, he established Freedom Builders in 2020 to serve Spearfish and the surrounding communities directly.
